Boss bolt sticking to guide

When I lube up my guide and my new xsv boss bolt and slide it on to the bolt guide, it doesn't move smoothly, I move it forward and back on the guide with my fingers and it sticks causing a small indentation around the bolt guide

is the bolt gouging the the bolt guide or are we talking small scratches? are you using the boss bolt guide orings or the orignal orings. how new is your marker and the orings.

we need some more details

The marker is new. It doesn't take chunks out of the bolt, it just leaves a small indentation around the whole guide. Its the orings that came stock on the boss bolt

The more you cycle the gun, the orings will break in

He was speaking of the bolt guide orings condition since the orings on the bolt have no contact with the bolt guide. I would highly recommend the boss xsv bolt guide orings, they make a huge difference in how it operates.

Mine is the same way, but is shot fine. Gonna order the bolt guide oring kit and see if it makes a difference. My axe is almost brand new so I figured it would just take time to break in.

you were quite clear in your questioning, he just missed it I guess, since he posted this " Its the orings that came stock on the boss bolt "

Why is a new Axe owner attempting to use an aftermarket bolt before the reg breaks in is the real question ?

What difference does it make? Just curious. Why shouldn't you put in another bolt until the reg is broken in?
