Fusion FX Stopped working. Help?

Okay so I've never had a problem with my fx, but I was adjusting the trigger a bit, and noticed the magnetic pull screw wasn't even connected, so I opened up my trigger frame and put the screw back in correctly and fixed it. I put everything back, connected the solenoid + eyes wires back in, but now my gun won't fire at all. It powers on fine (that's why I don't think it's just the battery), it airs up, but when I pull the trigger, nothing happens, no solenoid click, bolt doesn't move, nothing. It's basically like I'm firing the gun turned off. So I took off my hopper, tank and turned eyes off to see if I could dry fire and sure enough I cannot hear the solenoid click at all. I've tried reconnecting my wires several times but no luck. Solenoid doesn't click for me at all. Any help?

Not sure of the board but is it a microswitch? If so, is the trigger making contact?

Yep, it's a microswitch and the trigger makes contact. The board has a "Trigger Trainer" which I tested and it picks it up, so the trigger is working fine.

It's an APE board if that helps

He tried dry firing, eyes off already.

It seems like you've narrowed it down to either a board problem, or a board-to-solenoid connection problem. The wires are somewhat fragile, but disassembling and unplugging things shouldn't damage anything.

Try resetting the board to factory defaults.

Also try finding someone with working parts (solenoid and board) who you can swap parts and test.

Maybe turn your velocity down and slowly turn it out to see if it cycles?

Well hopefully I didn't damage the wires, I did have to wiggle them a bit to get them unplugged and I've unplugged them a few times but it wasn't like I was ripping them out or anything. I was trying to pull them out slowly and carefully without causing damage, and I didn't see any noticeable physical damage from pulling them, but those suckers are hard to unplug without feeling like you're ripping the wire out. Already reset the board to factory defaults and no help. I replaced the battery just to be sure and no luck. I don't have much air at all to try to cycle it through but I think I have a little left, but each time I air it up, the air goes through the front of my gun, which isn't normal. Maybe a blown poppit ring? I'll replace it, but I don't think that would effect my gun not firing at all or the solenoid not clicking whatsoever with eyes off. I'll try to find someone with parts, but I'm trying to get it fixed asap because I have a local tournament this sunday that I'd like to use this gat in if possible.

I'll try that and let you know if it helps. But if my solenoid won't click at all even with dry firing with eyes off, would this help?

Just wondering if maybe got over-pressurized or something and see if it helps before you tear the noid apart to service it

Okay so I gave it to my gun tech savy teammate to see if he could fix it, and he took the insulation of the solenoid wiring and the entire positive end wasn't even connected & the positive stud is lose. He's going to attempt to solder the positive wire back in place but the positive stud that's lose makes it hard he said.

Any suggestions?

Prolly not what you want to hear and it will take longer than a couple days, get a new noid. They are $35 new. Someone here may have one but it will take a couple days to get to you unless someone is close to where you are.

Believe noids come in the kits that are sold though so if your local field has a kit, maybe they will sell the noid to you?

Yeah I'm stupid, not the APE board. I was thinking of a different gun. Haven't played with this FX very much. It's just the stock FX oled. Anyways, so yeah, my friend got it soldered and it works even better than originally now. So

Thanks for everyone's help
