the feedneck leads me to believe its an older clone, might be a V1 or V2, the only way we can tell is if the seller provided pics of the drive train and back cap.

Yes, V1/V2 Clone. Ask to see if it has a VX'd drivetrain. Why it has a CP reg on there I don't know -_-

Ill be getting it in the morning, no idea why he swapped the regs out. So check the backcap and drivetrain to see if its v2 or vx'ed?

Whats the difference performance wise between them?

If the drivetrain is all black it's the original drivetrain. Post up a pic for us.

All black drivetrain / valve keg has slots for air passages = V1

All black drivetrain / valve keg has small holes for air passages = V2

Black bolt keg / silver valve keg & powertube cap = VX drivetrain is installed

Also see if you have the gold bolt or not.

The performance differences is not that big, but the VX is suppose to handle brittle paint a little better and might be a little more efficient.

Just picked it up from my buddy, its a V2 he was just to drunk last night to understand my question lol

So i got it SUPER cheap because the noid is "blown", all i know for sure is that its not opening at all. Noid clicks but the gun dosnt cycle, try'ed swaping out bolt engines and frames with a working xv so we know its something with the noid.

But its still clicking so its leading me to believe its possibly just stuck? Any ideas? Planning on tearing it apart later tonight for closer inspection

you can take the noid apart, the spool part and see if its jammed up. be very careful doing this. also, make sure the regulator has enough air going into the gun. if that doesnt work, take the gun apart completely and clean it

UPDATE, So i actually got to play with it a bit. Noid has a STRONG click and when gassed up makes a farting noise. Bolt does not cycle regardless of reg pressure. Pull the reg off to make sure it was functioning properly and it is (CP shorty). USING AN SLP REG IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Going to rebuild the noid i guess, not really sure if noid isnt receiving full pressure or isnt fully opening but it sounds different with air then without so its getting some amount.

EDIT: So i got the frame off and i cant find a phillips tiny and flat enough to get the noid screws out to save my life...... Guess ill have to pick up a mini phillips set tomorrow.

sounds like the noid was put together backwards or something.

did you take the drivetrain and regulator apart and clean and lube?

yes you can use SLP on clones. not too sure with that cp regulator specifically but i would imagine it works at least to cycle the bolt.

Just redid the noid and the bolt was fully cycling, then put the frame and everything back on and its back to farts. Bolt dosnt move but just a tiny bit, not even enough to push a ball past detents. I dont understand why it just stopped again

Tryed it with the CP reg and a BL reg with same results, lubed the drivetrain and bolt seems to move back in forth fine when i removed it so its not jammed or anything. So im at a lose, its deff not the regs.

I did notice when re-doing the noid that there was only 2 pins in the w/e where there are 4 holes, this seems off to me. Anyone have any details of what that could mean? Going to check youtube for a rebuild video, seems the more pressure i put threw the reg the less the bolt wants to move. Ill make a video so you guys can hear the noise this afternoon
