I really just need to be doing something with weights again. I suppose I'd rather work towards hypertrophy than strength gains, as I need a lot higher frequency to regain my motor patterns and neural efficiency. I'm rather scared to find out what it will feel like to squat again.

Oh, it will come back quickly, I have no worry about that. I just don't like doing things half ***, and trying to lift twice a week counts as half *** to me. Still, I need to get back to having a bar in my hands and rebuilding my base. I was making damn good progress before I shipped and I have every intention of totaling 1300 at 181 come July.

Never post here but a little update.

To add to my back problems, I herniated my L5/S1 about a month ago. Strained my rotator cuff at paintball practice two weeks ago.

My numbers before the injuries were 300/300/525 and also a 285-290 closegrip. I think if I switch back to a a medium grip bench and play out my programming I can get to 315 in 2-3 months time.

Wish I had a healthy back, held me back a lot over the years, but can't be a *****. Recovery is going pretty well.

How the hell did you have a 500lb pull when you couldn't even break a 3 plate squat?

I was squatting around 450 when I pulled 500 for the first time, I think.

Haven't worked out in three weeks. Really stressed out and want to train so badly. Appointment with the surgeon tomorrow so I'm hoping for good news.

I don't post here much, but figured I would give a little info on myself, as I creep the **** out of here for ideas an ****. After ~10 months lifting, I have now gotten 245 bench, 315 squat, 425 deadlift. Really will be focusing on squat for a couple weeks.

I am 6'2.5", around ~231. I can get pictures sometime later. I am not too proud of my physique at the moment, as I do have some fat to lose.
