WThe way I see it is there are low level, mid level, and high level companies. Sure the low will try to give you mid level, etc etc... but how many of them deliever? To me, azodin is the low level, efficiently delivering at the mid level. If they ever tried to jump to high level from low, im sure their investments would crash, due to people wanting their inexpensive gear, now have to pay 400$ for a gun, and a rebuild kit usually slapped in about 15 minutes, now takes 2 hours.
This product, is how they are delivering mid level. Nicely anodized, tastefully branded, and now uniquely displayed.
I apologize for any errors in my statement. Laggy ole droid 3.

Agreed!
Azodin is innovation, and innovation drives competition, and competition drives prices down and leads to more innovation.
Free Market capitalism at its finest right here.

I expect to see other companies being forced to drop prices due to Azodins bang for the buck.

Spyder is keeping a close competitive edge upon them, idk for how much longer. I mean hell, im using spyder batteries in my azo. xD
Azodin is liberating slowly, they have a tech mat, team lube, a freaking luxorious gun stand... They need batteries.

Learn from Tippmanns mistakes. If Azodin wants to get serious with mid-range or tournament grade markers, they'll stick with Autococker threading and ION feednecks, look into RSV or FASOR stacked tube poppet designs, and make sure the marker retains a decent % of parts compatibility with their older markers while milling the body into something completely new.

I was huge into Action Markers; it seems like around 2000 quality disappeared from the STBB market and with it went innovation, and they were the only ones at the time who bothered to bring the marker into the next generation of paintball (features, aesthetics, compatibility).

When K2 and AM had their blowout, and AM folded, I was afraid that was the end of the STBB as a both a true starter marker and a competitive marker. Tippmann was in every big box store and had the diehard reputation that they spent 20 years earning, and Kingman (at the time the "best" albeit rehashed STBB on the market) sponsored teams were shooting frankenstein hotrods that would never roll off the Spyder production line. This was when the term "JABB" hit the scene - "Just Another Blow Back".

I have been a proud Azodin owner since very early on, and I have encouraged friend who are new to the sport to purchase one because I feel that it is the best quality blowback on the market with all the features needed to be competitive. They have picked up the reigns from Action Markers and done even more to improve the platform. An Azodin marker grows with a player well, and will not be a marker that gets chucked or sold if a person feels the need to spend $600+ on an EP marker; instead it becomes a loaner or a backup because the quality makes it worth keeping. When I stack an Azodin up against the junior level EP markers in the same price range that other companies are putting out, it's like comparing a crackerjack prize to a real diamond ring - there should be no comparison.

We all loved Guitar Hero for years, but man, Rock Band did it better. Sometimes adding a little spice to an old recipe creates a great flavor - just don't expect Grandma to let you cook it in her kitchen. Thank you for being Frasier and not That 80's Show (Azodin guys know what I'm talking about).

I can't wait to see an MSRP on this marker stand, and I can't wait to see the growth that will come to Azodin when the new headquarters opens up.

Not neccessarily. If they made everything themselves, which performed at the same quality, at lower prices... then it wouldnt be azodin having to walk out the door looking for a hand to shake. It will get done in the new office we better get pictures of. ;P

Even at the most professional levels, things aren't black and white. They are still very grey. Working under and as a boss, I can back that 100%.

Yes, lets get this thread back on topic! This was exactly the type of stand that is needed. I think you have a home run product on your hands if it is priced right and doesn't allow for markers to turn on their sides/unscrew and get damaged.

This is exactly the type of system that I was thinking about using. I wonder how well it will work with drop forwards. Should be good though.

Summer is almost over! Let's see it soon. I'll buy one.

It was tank threads, and the angle is adjustable. It should work with almost any gun/forward.

We see that Kingman has done nothing with the Classic series of markers and the Fenix has no further updates for years. Their focus seems to be the MR line up.

At least Azodin is willing to keep the blow back gun evolved.

Thats what I was thinking, but concept to execution sometimes don't match up...

I still want one and summer ends on the 21st. Sorry brothers... I very much know about product launch delays but do you have a firm date on these? Are they on the water now?

lol,
This has inspired me to make something similar out of PVC.
Not for the field, but for a shelf at home. I'm stuck on the part where a flat base would meet the fittings.

Any updates on this project? The expected delivery date of summer 2013 has come and gone...

The stands are out. Not sure if many dealers are stocking them tho. But they are available.
