You have to change the firing modes on it. Look it up on youtube, its pretty simple.

That's because the stock etha board only goes up to 15bps....

.

FYI, the only uncapped mode on the stock board is uncapped semi auto. Read the manual it'll help with everything

Isn't the highest rate of fire on the Etha 15 bps capped or uncapped with the stock board and yes agreed. No need to go faster than that.

The reason your etha doesn't kick much is the slow cycle speed. In terms of force(kick) the weight of an object is additive as opposed to speed which increases force exponentially.

The equation for force is F=MV² a.k.a. Force = mass times velocity squared

In other words:
If you take an etha and another gun with exactly the same characteristics(height, weight, shape, etc) but the bolt weighs twice as much, the resulting gun would have twice the kick.
However, if you took two guns with exactly the same characteristics except having the bolt cycle twice as fast the result would be that the faster gun would have four times the amount of kick.

So, if you bought some upgrade that allowed your etha to theoritically shoot at 30bps you would have a gun that shot with 4x the amount of kick no matter what you capped it at. The slow cycle speed is the reason Luxes, DMs, and Drones shoot so smooth.

Nope. There are capped and uncapped modes on the stock board. The only uncapped mode being semi auto: meaning it'll shoot as fast as your loader will feed and/or as fast as your fingers will go.

The capped modes include semi auto, PSP ramping, and millennium ramping. These modes are capped at the rate of fire you set on the board up to 15bps.

It's actually F=ma ... I know that's splitting hairs on this forum, but I'm anal about math. 1/2mv² would be an expression for the kinetic energy.

Sorry if this comes off douchey - not my intention

If I am wrong I want to be corrected. However, is my basic point that slower bolt cycle will result in lowered kick?

yes, your premise is 100% correct. It's all about the momentum of the bolt - where it's going and how it's perceived.

Also, props to you for wanting to be corrected. There are far too few of us in the world...
