Yes, you are 100% reading this thread right, and if you're over on MCB, same thread, same ring, same person, with a few updates.
Lets lay something down here, really quick - No. Trades. Nothing paintball related. No electronics. Nothiiing. There's 2 exceptions to that rule, however.
1. A 1989 Saab 900 SPG, in good shape.
2. A 1992/94 Saab 9000 Aero.
Those would be the only things I'm interested in. And that's only mildly.
As of 3/13/2013, the ring is currently being cleaned, polished, and tightened up. It should be back at the end of the week, or the beginning of next week.
The ring is 14k Gold, 1C of diamonds in the baguettes and 1/5th carat in the center bezel stone.
Edit - In the updated photos you can see the 14k stamp. Ring is a size 8
I do have this listed on another website, however I've read the rules and I know I can't link the website, but I CAN Verify that I'm the other person on the website. See Photos. They don't do it justice. The other website would act as a third party, which I think would make most people interested in such an investment more comfortable. That being said.
Oh - Quick Note - Price - $1325, or solid OBO. Ring was appraised at $3kish Apprasial is only good for insurance purposes.) - Shipping will be SAME DAY AIR (which is about $60, + full insurance. There is a different price for locals as well.
This is a hand crafted, one of a kind piece. 14k Yellow gold, one carat in the bagguttes alone, center stone is about 20 points As of 3/5/2013, I had the piece appraised by a local high end jeweler. However, since they only does apprasials for insurance purposes, I cannot provide that certificate. Stunning, bright and vibrant, this is the sort of ring that you give to the woman you know stands out from all the others. The intriciate scrollwork on the sides of the bezel show the exquisite craftsmanship of the ring. Feel free to ask any questions, all offers entertained.
This ring was given to me by my mother when I turned 20. I had just started dating a wonderful young woman that I'd met through a colleague at college. She bought it from a family friend of ours, a jeweler back in the early nineties. To her credit, it was an Italian made one of a kind piece, I've certainly never seen another piece like it before. The story! Ah, in 2010 my mother and stepfather got married, and my then to be now ex fiance was in town over christmas. My brother was there, so were my grandparents. I took the time and liberty to take a page from my step fathers book, when he proposed to my mother he hid the ring in a puzzle box that she had to solve first! I hid it in boxes within boxes within boxes. On a cold, wintry Colorado Christmas Eve we sat down by the fire to open presents before brother flew out the next morning. I was lost in conversation with my family when I handed her the box, and had just turned to her to ask her what her answer was when she said "Yes dear? What were you about to ask me?" She hadn't opened it yet! When she did, however she was speechless for the next few minutes, as we faded from the group conversation and she looked me in the eyes and gave me one of the most cherished kisses of our relationship. I had my answer.
Fast Forward to 2013 - Between long fought legal troubles, inability to come to a compromise, and personal issues we call it a close. A slew of hardships, family illnesses and tragedy, I've got bills to pay, my car needs a lot of work and new tires, some student loans to take care of. It's full of memories, mostly good, a few rough. I hope whoever gets this ring appreciates the woman (or man) they're marrying, committing to. If you adore fine craftsmanship and something so unique this would be the ring for you.

No, this is not a joke by the way. Why do you think I didn't edit out the gushy bits? That being said, nation, have at it.
