First, hello PbNation, I have been lurking for bit, and I never found any answers, so here I am, hopefully you can give some advice.
I have an old Spyder Shutter, in great condition, works well for the most part however, it seems to double-fire every so often. I have replaced the rubber detent nub but with no avail it does the same thing. I have taken some pictures to share with you nice people in hopes you can give some advice to see if it would be possible/worth it to drill/mill the gun and screw in some Kila Instinct Magnetic Detents.
So here are some pictures:
I was thinking it would be relatively easy (in theory) to drill and thread this Kila Detent: http://www.kilaproducts.com/product....8&sid=5&pid=22
Also, the direct opposite side of the detent has the 45 degree feed in the way, so that might
be a problem, I could install the opposing detent lower. Or is it possible to use only one of these type of detents? Should I just deal with the double feed? Are there other alternatives aside from buying a new gun (which I will do down the road)?
What are your thoughts? Thank you for your time.
