Spyder Shutter Possible To Upgrade To Kila Magnetic Detents

First, hello PbNation, I have been lurking for bit, and I never found any answers, so here I am, hopefully you can give some advice.

I have an old Spyder Shutter, in great condition, works well for the most part however, it seems to double-fire every so often. I have replaced the rubber detent nub but with no avail it does the same thing. I have taken some pictures to share with you nice people in hopes you can give some advice to see if it would be possible/worth it to drill/mill the gun and screw in some Kila Instinct Magnetic Detents.

So here are some pictures:
I was thinking it would be relatively easy (in theory) to drill and thread this Kila Detent: http://www.kilaproducts.com/product....8&sid=5&pid=22

Also, the direct opposite side of the detent has the 45 degree feed in the way, so that might be a problem, I could install the opposing detent lower. Or is it possible to use only one of these type of detents? Should I just deal with the double feed? Are there other alternatives aside from buying a new gun (which I will do down the road)?
What are your thoughts? Thank you for your time.

By any chance do you still have the rear striker buffer in place? If that's missing it'll allow for it yo feed two paintballs when it recycles back to firing position.

Thanks for replying Opteron-03, what is the rear striker buffer? The bolt is an ACS Delrin Anti-Chop bolt, and the striker is stock. Do you perhaps have a link to a picture of what I should have?

That is a beautiful picture. So, it's basically a rubber gasket/washer right? I do have that on the gun. Any other thoughts?

Is the rubber piece in the right place as illustrated above?

I will check when I get off work. I'm pretty sure it is. I also found this spring ball detent that may be able to mod in easier: http://www.ansgear.com/Kingman_Spyde...pperblkcur.htm

With ball and spring/magnetic detents, are they required to have two (one on each side)? Or is there some other part I may be missing? Thanks again.

You should have one on each side.

No on the ball detents, but thats not your problem. Ditch the ACS bolt and you'll have much less trouble.

Really? Damn I just bought them. I read good things about them. So, go back to the stock bolt?
