ok, so im new iv read almost every thread i could find on the leaking noid problems. I have oiled the noid its self and cleaned it, still just leaks like crazy. turned the lpr to the left ( i assume that would be turning it down) it slows the leak but does not stop it. is the noid done for or do i need a lpr?
leak from noid can be from bunch of area, best thing to do is get soap and water to verify that it is the noid. if your ram is bad or if your lpr is bad it will cause the noid to leak. i have a simple test to verify that both are good.
take off the 3 way hose in the back of the ram
turn down/off your lpr pressure
install the 3 way hose from your lpr to the front of the ram
air up your marker and slowly increase the lpr pressure, this will cause your back block to slowly go back. this will verify if your lpr is working. check to see if air is coming out of the back barb on the ram. if your do not have air coming out, your ram is good. air coming out of the back barb of the ram will cause the noid to leak.
this help eliminate what can be causing your noid to leak, now you know if it's really the noid that's having the issue.
ok cool. what if my back block did not move before i do what you suggested? iv read where some people have the block still move but mine does not at all. it wont even air up. it just empties the tank in like 20 seconds.
well i fixed the ram and the lpr. the noid still leaks so would you say its just the noid its self? it does not leak with the lpr turned to the left, but the gun will not cock. i turn it up and it cocks but then the noid starts to leak, any other ideas or suggestions?
like hmcl281 said... you have to go through everything, so you know your ram is okay.... you dismantled the tikler lpr, replaced o ring, greased it up, now it`s time for the noid. first, try tightening the 2 screws that hold the solenoid to the housing. if it still leaks take the noid out of the housing and replace the gasket. I took black auto silicone and put a thin thin film on the gasket, re assembled everything... not tight. let the silicone cure and the torqued it down tight. I have not had any leaks yet. you just want enough air through the lpr to cock the marker. Also check your HPR, if its to high it will blow things, if to low it will make it act funny or not fire. then time it up
