I would say Vanquish. Empire is a very respected business. I guess you could say empire now cause it owns a lot of other companies. Anyway. The bolt is almost the same as the luxe. Reliability would be about the same in that case. Is really a extra game. I like the trigger better on vanquish. the grips are better i think. Oled or talking board. Laser eyes or just normal. I think the vanquish feels better IMHO. Both Asa are great. You also get a super freak instead of just a freak barrel

Pretty similar guns, have to hold them to see what you like. The Vanquish has all the rubber on it and they have pretty different triggers. With them being so similar even down to barrel kit, I would go with whichever ergo you prefer.
I should be able to shoot a Vanquish this Sunday at practice, I can post after.

Just so everyone knows the vanquish engine is based of of the shocker/luxe platform. it is just as reliable if not more so than a luxe. They improved the bolt assembly to shoot smoother and more efficient than the luxe engine. remember its just by a slight margin nothing to do cartwheels over. they have been working on this gun over three years and it is bullet proof. I work in the industry so I have had some time with the gun. hope this helps. by the way the vanquish
is ugly. Sorry it is. luxe is pretty no other way around it. For 1500 bucks it should look as nice as it functions.

My understanding is the vanquish comes with a full super freak kit (the new freak barrel with the carbon fiber tip you see on it, plus all the inserts).

Luxe without a doubt vanquish looks like a $100 Walmart gun. I would never buy something that is 1st gen. i mean look at the 1st gen geo and vapor both were garbage. If you can wait i suggest waiting until you see peoples feedback on the vanquish.

the smoothness and reliability of the luxe is what makes me love it that much more. i would rather have to air up my gun more often and have it shoot quieter, then something a little louder and more air efficient.
Ive played with many, many guns and i hate how loud a poppit type marker can be. with that said, Luxe 2.0 all the way!!

The Vanquish is a Spool.....it has basically the same bolt as a Luxe. lol...

Did you have any problems with the luxe 1.0? It's basically the same bolt as the luxe 2.0 so what unfamiliar problems could occur. Empire is a good company and would not put out crap. They have done extensive testing and have fix all the kinks that occurred. Just ask the pros that have commented on it for feedback if your that worried about it.

first geo was back in 09 and then there wasnt sth similar to this.
we are in 13 now and Vanquishes engine is almost similar to Luxe 2.0.
i dont expect to be any problems. and i dont mean any, maybe a few ones but minor

i have yet to shoot a vanquish but they honestly did not feel very good in the hands at least not to me the front grip is very square in profile and semiaquard to hold. I still am not a fan of the "looks" at all...
the entire bolt system is the exact same as a luxe other then the air passage ways on the can, windows in the can and they put an axe bolt tip on it.
at dallas all the vanquishes i saw being shot where pretty dang load but it could just be the cf tip

I don't get why anyone would pay $1500 for either when a used NXT shocker can be had for $200 or less. Even if you toss in a Lurker bolt and an OLED board, you still are under $500 for functionally the same thing.
The Luxe and Vanuish are nice markers, but they are yesterday's $700 marker with a few small changes and a doubled price.

My favorite gun was the luxe for years. But now it's the vanquish. There the same platform because kee owns the rights to smart parts. I think the vanquish shoots better and has a better feel and stock trigger. It's also smaller feeling and lighter. Plus 5 piece freak kit and cf barrel tip. Also the board isn't annoying. Trust me shoot one and you won't be disappointed.

Q: Isn’t the Vanquish just a Luxe copy? A: Both guns work on a similar Balanced Spool Valve but there are 2 key differences that allow the Vanquish to perform at a higher level. One is the Vanquish Quick Exhaust port in the rear of the bolt which increases cycle speed and efficiency making the Vanquish more air efficient than a Luxe. The other difference is the solenoid. The Vanquish uses a faster switching, lower flow solenoid than a Luxe meaning the Vanquish bolt reacts more quickly to an electronic signal but also moves more slowly. The result is a smoother shot with less kick that is gentler on paint than a Luxe while still maintaining the same rate of fire. Additional features that set the Vanquish apart from the Luxe are the OLED Display, the industry changing electronic pressure sensor technology and the single size hex key design.
