Word is these new ones have the old plastic in the shells
I'm seeing reports of people paying in the 30s for these at local stores

If anyone dose end up making one, I'd love to see pics if it was done differently (different angles cut, overlapping of plastics) and feedback of how it held up when it was shot... I'm hung up with an injury so its unforeseeable when I will be able to test mine.

That's great news, now I don't feel bad about cutting my old ones up.

Anybody looking to upgrade their revy and improve its performance for pump should look into this: http://www.warpig.com/paintball/tech...ex/index.shtml
Message me if you're interested in one.

Does anybody have access or friends with access to 3D printing? If someone could come up with an idea for just shells, no lids, no motors or whatever. You could keep cost very down. Make it compatible with Revvy internals. Fast as it needs to be and cheap. Keep the lid the standard Revvy size so you could use the same lids/speed feeds.

Looks pretty cool!
I've got an old 12v Revy sitting in a spares box and i'll probably give this a go. Best part is you can still get replacement shells ~$10 if it doesn't pan out.
to the OP, have you tried this out on the field yet? any issues?
I might try doing an overlap on the lips rather than edge to edge. time to get the dremel out lol
