DM7 reg leak

Im looking for some help with a leak I'm having on my dm7 reg. To make a long story short, before this leak popped up, I was leaking through the cp flow plug and I think it ended up being that the oring I put on was too small. After I changed it, the leak from my flow plug went away but it moved to the cuff on my reg where the two pieces meet as shown below. If anyone has any idea what could be causing it, please let me know. Another issue I'm having is, I don't even know if any of the orings inside the reg are broken because I can't even get into it. I've tried everything I can to split it apart but it's not working, so any input on that would be cool as well

Install the correct size oring on there and it won't leak.

in the link there is a diagram of your reg. It shows all the o rings in it. I assume if it's leaking from there it would be the piston o ring. I'm not 100% on that though.

1: crack your reg open

2: clean it out

3: Replace the 016 piston oring

4:replace the 020 oring on the cap where it's leaking at

Lube well and it should work fine

If it is leaking from where you circled, then there is only one o-ring that could cause it, which would be the 020 on the cap in the exact spot you circled.

And, this is the same oring I mentioned. There shouldn't be a gap at all on that reg after it's had the oring replaced, lubed, and put back together.
