Unfortunately Backyard Boyz is currently only open Friday and Saturday. I tried to stop by today and was disappointed to learn this. They're opening a new field (apparently on the S side but unsure of the exact location), which is what has caused the reduced hours at the shop.

Thanks for the Update I was going to stop by and pick up some Air to test out the new Ego.

From a retail business stand point I personally think this is a bad move as you don't see wal-mart, target or your local Mcdonalds closed for vacation. I know it's tougher for a small business but when your already running reduced hours this puts your customers in a pinch big time.

I guess that is the great thing about being the only true paintball store in the Indianapolis metro area is that you don't have to worry about any competition taking your business away.

Don't think this is hating as they are some really good guys but there store seems to be driven more towards the mil-sim player then a tourny player as they vary rarely have a high end marker on the shelf to see and touch which just sucks when your looking at making your wife mad at you.

I've worked at/ran/managed/owned a paintball store for many years. The problem with tourney players is most of the time they want you to show them everything, explain everything and let you finger **** it to death then will go online or with their "sponsor" to get one. You spend a lot of time and energy so that places like ANS gear will sell it to them for $20 less. It gets rather disheartening. Tourney players tend to want everything for either free or at half the cost.
Mil-Sim/scenario/rec players tend to be more loyal and will spend their money with the place that treats them right. The person that pays the bills at stores and fields tend to be the Mil-Sim/scenario/rec players.
Not hating on either group just stating facts from my experiences.
