Questions on PSP/MSXL Rules
I figure its time for this thread. Keep in mind that the rules are available at pspevents.com so try to find the answer there first. As a matter of fact everyone should read them at least once.

I dont think i would consider my cleats "rigid" or "pointed" as the bottoms of the spikes are flat and they are def. not metal. If seen a TON of cleats such as these on the field with no problem. They are infact soccer cleats. Would you dissagree?
edit: here they are again.. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008EQKJ6W/...M3T1_ST1_dp_i1

I think they r ok.
as long as the orange doesnt look yellow in the sun
and the "spikes" have a little give to them. But you should always try to err on the side of caution. Example if u think there might be an issue dont wear them.

Lol, there is NO mistaking that orange with yellow in any light. Its basically the brightest blaze/hunter's safety orange youve ever seen. I'll bring them to the event and find you and let you see them, if they're no good, i got other cleats. Thanks for the help.

Couldn't find it in the rule book, but what's the ruling about someone being on the roster of a team, but being on the sidelines coaching? I know at one point this would have been not allowed, but was allowed in Dallas....
Any insight would be helpful.

New rule says that rostered players and staff "MAY" be on spectator side!

I'm fairly certain that the rule preventing rostered persons from coaching was abolished or reduced with the 2013 PSP rule changes.

undertow00 Yes this is the rule.
2.2.8. In the prelims divisional games in which time expires and both teams have scored the same
number of points, the game ends in a tie, and each team receives 1 match point.

It is explained in the 2013 PSP Rule Addendum, http://pspevents.com/wp-content/uplo...-Addendums.pdf
"Roster Members on Sideline – Players and staff listed on a team roster *MAY* be on the spectator sideline during that team’s matches. Note that player credentials will be verified on entry into the player paddock area and thus swift entry into the player paddock area may not be possible."

We will discuss this in the captains meeting. I'm not good with staff and players running back and forth from pits to spectator side during a match. But we will go with what the majority wants.

How many pairs of socks can a player legally wear?
I'm pretty hard to get along with once my feet get cold.

What was decided at this event and will it be the same for 5man? Since we wouldn't necessarily have players running back and forth

Yes you can send a player over to coach. RT 2 isn't match play so no restrictions.
