It's been censored for years after the owner of that site spammed this one with gay porn (which he freely admits to doing, he even has a youtube video up about it).

Luxe fore sure. The Vapor feels like ****, looks like ****, and is produced by a dude known for being sketchy (aka being ****). Supposedly the newer parts make them work but for $1600 you can do a lot better than a Vapor.

For the cost of these guns, you would think they should be nearly issue free. Other than the issue of how it feels in your hand. Both seem to have too many issues to justify the cost.

Are either of them really worth the cost?

Buy a Vapor if you want a headache and an overpriced piece of **** that will barely work, if ever.
Um... they are based almost entirely on the shocker. Only difference is the vapor has the engine milled into the body and the only thing that comes out is the bolt, guide, and bolt sleeve.
Though, word on the street is you have to somehow tune them, I think it is spring pressure.

However, that said, I think you should do some more research in a purchase this big, don't decide based on popular vote, because I can almost guarantee most of the voters haven't owned either, the rest have only shot one or the other.

I have owned both guns at the same time and kept both of them for at least 6 months. For me its a matter of being comfortable or not. The guns are the same length but when you line them up at the hpr and trigger the ergonomics go to hell for me on the Luxe. The hopper is placed much further forward than I like and I always feel like my arms ar reaching apart just to hold the gun. The Vapor is a much tighter hand position more like the Shockers were. Both guns shoot well and suck for efficiency when compared to poppits. I believe Vapor has worked out their problems and produce a reliable gun. For me I like the Vapor but its just for feel. Because honestly if a gun feels more natural in my hands I will play better. Heres the only pic I have and its hard to see at an angle but they are very similar, just a longer distance on the Luxe from the trigger to hpr.

Heard way too many bad things about Vapor, but to be fair heard bad stuff about DM and NT (now my go to markers). Luxe for me are expensive Shockers, but shoot very well.

I've owned 6 fluxes, all of them were great, no problems. Tried a vapor OUT THE BOX, and it blended cheaper paint ( valken infinity), shot my luxe..... Laser beams.

NOW.......
Switched both to grafitti, both shot amazing.
Both were shot out of .689

Decision
I opted NOT to buy the vapor, because I need a gun that will shoot top shelf paint as well as mid grade. And the fact I could not do it our the box was a huge turn-off
