I was debating which marker to get. Aside from external solenoid, different milling, heightened grips, and the slight space improvement on the trigger frame, is there anything else the Geo 3 has to offer?

I was watching the sound signatures on the two markers and I was wondering if it is possible to get the Geo 2.1 to have the same/close sound signature as the Geo 3.

The Geo 3 is definitely quieter and smoother than the 2.1. Not sure if you'd be able to tune the 2.1 to be as quiet as a 3, probably not. They both feel really comfortable in the hands to me.

I've played with both (currently own a 3, used a friends 2.0 for the day)...2.0 felt great! The setup with a rotor and 68/45 felt great, gun is very light, and sound and kick were minimal. It kind of reminded me of a very soft victory...nice smooth shot, but just a little bit of a slight "pop" sound to the shot...nothing like an ego or a vic, but not like a luxe, gt, etc. I was in love with the 2.0! So I hunted down a Geo 3...so far I've only thrown a few pods through it (and I didn't have a 2.0 to compare side by side), but it seemed to shoot very smooth and very quiet...it'll be neat to try it out next to a few of the Luxes next time I play just to compare...but otherwise I'm very happy with the sound and feel...also the gun feels great in hand, the features are amazing as always for a Planet Gun, and it does seem lighter and smaller...I know the weight is shaved off from the previous model...it'll be neat to see it next to a 2.0 next time I'm out as well, to see the size difference if there is any really.
If you can swing it, you might as well go for a 3...they have all of the perks of the 2.0/2.1 and more...but for the sake of saving money, hunt down a good deal on a 2.0/2.1...right now with the arrival of the LV1, you should actually find some great deals from guys trying to dump their Geo's for LV1 cash.

disagree with all you. Geo 2.1 sounds way better and faster. looks way better too! Geo 3 no thanks.

agreed. the geo 2/2.1 has a lil smaller grip area. id take a geo 2.1 anyday. i miss my geo 2. but the geo 3 does sound sexy though.

Geo3 more efficient for sure. Had multiple Geo 2's and a Geo 3. Liked all of them. What stayed..... the Geo 2.1!
