Anyone from Manhattan here? Moved here from LA over the summer, looking to start playing again after 6 years of not playing.

you should check out new york metropolitan paintball on facebook. It's a cool group with a ton of members and scheduling a lot of events. Most people go outside of the city to play, but there are a lot of good fields within 90 minutes.

If your looking to play your going to need to travel out of the boroughs. There is only one field in the boroughs and from what I hear it is a reball field.
The most competition will be out in New Jersey or Long Island.

How does he get to the field you guys play on? I checked google maps and it seems like a bus or two run but the times suck and not often.

We carpool with him.

You can take public transportation to fields like high velocity and cousins-riverhead, but you would have to organize someone to pick you up or a taxi.
There is also a field in nj called the meadowlands which is close to the city and has a few ways to get to. Most will take the buss then walk a few blocks to the field.

Your best bet is to look up fields in the nj and ny forums and post your problem/questions/favors in hope that someone will help. Eventually if you play at the field and meet players there then you can work something out.

im not in the city but from bklyn and we play Hivi once or twice a month along with some trips to liberty as well as skirmish

I would suggest Cousins Staten Island or Calverton, depending on if you like woods ball or speedball, and then Meadowloands.

The reball center in Queens is pretty much rented out to private groups although my team uses it once a week for drills.
