I'd be interesting in field testing the longer control bore or any other prototype items you need tested. With the amount of practice we endure, I can put just about anything you have to the test.

Just got it and hmmm...

One thing I did notice is the carbon fibur tips inside doesn't feel smooth. It looks like it isn't polished..

I spoke to where I bought it from, and they said to run my fluffy through it, but it still would feel rough. I can't remember noticing it on my Deadlywinds Whip Tip or Empire Super Freak CF tip...

Is it OK to look kinda rough and not polished smooth?

Just got a reply back from Nathalie (CEO & Managing Director) @ Shadow... the dust inside the barrel - not happy with that, but swabbing it should be fine.
However, the CF inside feels smooth but looks rough - that is the way carbon fibur is.
Some barrels use an alu core and stick a small amount of CF (almost like carbon fibur wrapping it) around the outside - they don't. It is solid carbon fibur.

So I am to fluffy it, shoot it and everything will be fine.

The barrel IS a lot lighter than the other barrels I have tried...

I have run my barrel made through it and it does seem to have made a difference. Feels smoother, but still not as pretty inside compared to my DW Whip Tip which looks almost polished. I guess if it is smooth, then that is what matters

As Nathalie from Shadow said, it makes no difference to the performance - it is the way Carbon Fibur is.
