Nope.

It's solid, decent price, and Empire has good CS.

I love mine.

Perfect ergonomics for hitman mod use... you can grip the foregrip and cycle the hitman with two fingers. Keeps the gun super stable when pumping, which translates into better shot-to-shot accuracy. The Sniper is now my preferred gun over my custom cocker-based pumps. Good luck with whatever you chose to use, Condo.

I've shot ccm's, custom built snipers, phantoms and the Empire Sniper, the Empire Sniper def. was top in my book. plus you get a barrel kit kit. Thats my opinion.

i love my sniper. I took the "lever" part if you may off the back of the pump because i found it slightly annoying. When i did, I took the guide rods off aswell for cleaning and it was time consuming to put them back on. once they were on, my auto trigger wasnt functioning right and didnt fire. Other than that, its amazing.

Ya, I found there a very small/specific adjustment window (between the hammer lug and pump rod assembly). If you're taking apart the marker to clean, and putting it back together, 9 times out of 10 (for an ordinary player like me) you won't get the auto fire trigger to work (unless you're "Joe MarkerTech" Guy).

The sniper for me at least is a battle to take apart and put together. I have a funny story, I took apart the pump kit to lengthen the pump rods a little. I took me a good 20 mins to take apart (I'm not that mechanically inclined). When I lengthened the pump rods and put the kit back together I noticed I couldn't pump it all the way. I thought that I lengthened the rods to the extent that the pump kit wasn't working. So I took it all apart again and shortened the pump rods (I've probably gone an hour and a half in it already). Once that was done and I got the kit back on the pump was still not working. Out of the corner of my eye I see my safety pin was engaged. Hit that and things were all good again. Long story short, that safety is a b****

Love mine too, Customer Service is excellent. Empire sent me a trigger pivot pin and a gauge after I explained some issues I had. Without hassle or a charge. Disassembly is aggravating but not overwhelming; it's hard to think of strong reasons against it.

I have one as well, love the thing. I would recommend that you remove the bolt and take off the front o-ring. I think that is what caused me to shred two of the detents and I didn't lose any performance (the bolt has two more o-rings on it anyways).

Just be careful removing the bolt. I pulled on the bolt pin too hard one day and completely pulled it out, causing the bolt spring and bearing to come flying out and get lost, effectively putting it out of service. Empire did send me a new spring, no charge, but they forgot the bearing. Fortunately, a BB worked just as well, so I didn't bother asking for it.

Some Snipers can't get above 260FPS if you do that.

Like mine. I dont think its worth the compromise of the performance loss, the pump stroke being a little rough is more how heavily its sprung than the detent drag. At least in my opinion. Get the Checkit internals and a hush bolt and tune properly and you will have a nice pump stroke without losing all that velocity.

I'll take your word for it, mine seems to be doing just fine that way, it worked for another guy I know too, but I guess each one is different.

empire snipers suck. CCM only, everything else pump sucks. Theres a reason the best pump players use them.
