got it for the cheapz (free).
in need of a bit of equipment..
its missing a few things, barrel, tank, hopper, all the essentials....
any recommendations?
also i buddy told me its missing a cap in the back..

BST on here is a great place to pick up stuff. You can pick up everything you need from here and Amazon for super cheap. I'd suggest finding a 9 oz CO2 tank ($10) or a 3000psi HPA tank ($40), then a shake and bake hopper (Wallieworld, >$10, and any Spyder threaded barrel ($20-70), I'd suggest a Teardrop. Try the barrel section on the BST.

Buy yourself a decent mask. You don't need to go nuts. A Profiler or the like.
Better Mask = less chance of fogging, easier breathing etc. they make or break the game really.
Yes you're missing the Back cap/Velocity Adjuster & Pin (can't remember the proper name atm) as well as the Main Spring.
It DOES have the Spring Guide though, which is good.
you'll be able to steak these off any older spyder (2007 and older effectively) so search around. I'm sure the guys in the Spyder forum will be able to help you more with your search as the only thing I can think of is to scour the misc parts section of the BST.
As for hopper, as it's a powerfeed you'll also need a plastic elbow. Walmart should also sell these. Honestly, take care of it though because they aren't the nicest things in the world and when they break you're kind of SOL.

You may not have a fully working marker. The back cap holds the spring guide and spring in.

My spyder e99 has a problem I need help.

you're out of CO2.
Btw - around here, we usually like people to start their own threads instead of 'hi-jacking' another thread.

Robotin: I've got all of the stuff that you need to get that marker up and running, and best of all I'll let you have it for the price of shipping. Shouldn't be but about 20 bucks. Only thing I don't have is a hopper for it, like said before should be able to pick up one cheap at wally mart. I think you have to post a few more times before you can send a private message.

You should be able to find a parts diagram online, to make sure you have everthing you need. Lots of good advice in the spyder sections. Simple markers, love 'em or hate 'em.

I'm sorry, but this legitimately made me chuckle a bit.
Can't count the number of times that I've seen kids with Tippys or Spyders freak out when their gun is out of air/CO2. Funny, but then I remember when I was a newbie that I did the same thing!

Make sure your grip frame screws are tight and that you have Co2 in your tank.

Before you go about buying parts, I suggest you look into this: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3655911
or better yet, I have an updated version saved on here which is more accurate: http://tbqf.co/?page_id=24
Anywho, check it out.
I implore you.
OH, and before you go about buying upgrades, buy some tools and grease.
I've been through dozens of brands and I came across this combo:
http://www.amazon.com/Bondhus-20399-...ywords=bondhus
Don't buy that set since they're cheaper at hardware stores, but that's the brand/model I suggest.
That and some TechT GunSav and Kila Ice Cream will go a long way with all paintball markers you encounter.
Having these on hand will save you from trouble on the field and will ensure you don't have to replace things that shouldn't have to be replaced with consistent maintenance.
