How does Walk-On work?

So, I am thinking about going to my local field on sat for their first sat night games of the year (this will be my second time paint balling in my life) and I of course I have never been anywhere as a solo walk-on. (I figure the process varies from place to place) but what is it at your field? I have only been there once before with a private party of around 20 people so we basically just registered and then we met the ref and then just took us to field to field playing about 2-3 games per field then moving on. With some breaks and lunch in the middle. So, is this pretty basic of how it works with a solo walk on? Do I stay with the same group of randoms throughout the whole day or do we get mixed up?

Been trying to call the field but their phones suck and are under repair LOL.

-Thankz-

1-Gear up/Register sign waiver
2-Chrono Gun
3-Wait until they Say "Walk on"

2 Rounds Per match and then you walk out the field for 10 mins and wait until they call you back to anther field.

yeah, it varies from place to place, i've been to some where you have to sign a waiver, chorno gun, watch a saftey vid, listen to a ref walk you through stuff and then they put the walk ons in groups to play...but then again, i've been to places where it's basically a free for all, no waivers, chrono, and you just talk to random ppl and get games set up yourself with no ref.

since you can't get anyone on the phone, i'd say just go and check it out, talk to the ppl before you pay for anything to see how its ran and what goes on.

I'll tell you the truth.

if its your first time playing walk on, you have to play a "everyone versus you" match. Then its cool to play walk on.

Just about everyone at my field is walk-on. There's lots of groups that show up together to play, but anyone else can play with them. There is usually only two refs at my field, so they don't have enough people to have private games for everyone. Technically, you can get a private game, but it's so ridiculously expensive, nobody ever does it (the field did that on purpose by the way ). So pretty much, everyone just shows up, gets in a line, picks teams, and goes and plays

I've never been in this situation. Every time I have walked on at a field, i just play with a group of people the whole time.

We just show up with our stuff and the ref splits us up into teams. Waivers on file, pay the front desk, put your mask on.
