Because people think millseconds are splitting hairs. I only messed with it because of a Virtue board I have on my other marker. It was slower after I added the Virtue board and messing with the "Eye Delay" thats what Virtue calls it really woke the marker up in semi. Around here the field is semi only.

Why not run 1ms? I don't know. I wanted to make sure the ball had time to settle before it shot, I didn't want a possablity of a chop. 3 ms was in the middle.

Get a Lurker bolt and you won't have that issue
