So I have multiple setups w/ their own regulator and I was wondering if it is acceptable to run my dm12 at 950 psi using a spare shp I have. If so should I turn the dwell down..etc?

The hyper3 should be just fine with almost any normal input pressure, and I dont think it would have an effect on the dwell, especially since it has an LPR also.

I dont see any problem with it.

haha, I dont really like shp either, It isnt optimal, but it should be fine.

Yeah, we'll I have 4 setups and all of them are low pressure except the dm, so I was just making sure I could scrape by with my shp instead of having to buy another. (Which I will when I have the money, my shp is only a temporary solution.)

I thought the SHPs were 1100?

The main thing you'll notice is that the on/off switch is hard as hell to turn with high pressure like that.

The sweet spot for a DM12 is 450-650 imho.


/edit ah, I see, there are two: 950 and 1100. Either way, ouch. Mag territory imo
