Dm4 questions

I just purchased a DM4 and was just wondering about what's necessary for maintenance and any upgrades you'd suggest.

I would check your Hyper2 reg and make sure it holds a steady pressure. (No drop or creep) As far as maintenance goes, just keep the orings clean and lubed.
Keep a fresh battery in it and it will treat you right for a long time.

As he said, if the dm4 has been sitting a while with no use I'd go ahead and get a oring kit and rering the bolt. other then that...

check regs like he said lube them.

check LPR/lube it make sure the LPR seat is in good condition along with the 010 oring on the brass adjuster.

and make sure the on/off is in good condtion too

I would look into UL Frame for it if it doesnt already have one. That board has more than enough muscle. However if you like to tinker and really fine tunethan a virtue oled board is something you might want to consider.

This is a long long shot but.......if you can find one of the old Evolve dm4 drive trains.......they were pretty sweet. I had one in my DM4 back in the day and loved it. Much more efficient. They haven't been made in years(decade+) though so you probably won't ever find one.

UL frame would be nice if you can find one since the button pads for the DM4 are getting tough to find.

I would also grab some Dm6 spring detents for it as well. The eye covers aren't made for them but with a bit of patience you can get them in there. I used to run angel spring detents in my DM4 back in the day. The rubber detents work well but are also getting tough to find.
