Yeah if I did put a pricetag on it I would just get laughed at. But in all honesty this is one of those jobs where too much money was put in to a project to ever be effectively sold. So the Etek stays with me till my playing days are over. Then maybe one day PbNation might see a black/red Etek go up for sale. But I would only sell my gun to a select few people I have met and became friends with on here.

Multiple years of careful deals that only included dust black and dust red STOCK/OEM Planet Eclipse anoed parts. The HPR regulator came off an Etek 2 with black as that stock color (I just traded the dust gold one I had for the one bought out of pocket), the Shaft 4 barrels were all bought from newer Egos/Geos owners that had guns that featured the Shaft 4 backs, the Star frame is a 1/8 shade off from the other dust black parts unfortunately , the dust black feedneck was purchased new old stock from a private company, the feedneck lever was bought from Gerry @ Planet Eclipse, Violent thumbwheel Ebay, ano'ed bolt pin where I offered $15 more to a company to do a custom color and not to incorporate their logo for a custom aluminum/ano'ed bolt pin, 2010 Ashes Ego 10 ASA, Star frame w/. 07/08 Ego expansion board, 08 Ego trigger and bracket. The very HARD to come by Bump pistons were acquired separately and took awhile to do. If anyone needs help advice...feel free to PM me anytime.

Yet if this Etek and a stock EGO 8 were placed in front of 100 people I'm almost positive 95/100 would choose the EGO 8. Just saying.. The ETEK is nice though..

Yes I realize that. If I hadn't built this Etek and was in love with the color scheme, I too would be one of those people that would choose the Ego as well. I realize the Etek is the "mid-level" Planet Eclipse gun. This Etek was my first Planet Eclipse marker. I have had/used this gun for three years now and along the way threw a few touch ups to it. It didn't start as a project. I was going to just use it as a backup gun and get me an Ego, but the gun grew on me.

I have an Etek 3/Ego 10 regulator with dust black swivel already. Need a gloss black swivel, but it has to off of an 09 or newer Ego/Geo. That dust red one stays with me. I bought that thing off Bill from PBShowcase brand new. It stays with my collection. Another sad point is my beloved blue Bump HPR piston won't work in my new Etek 3/Ego 10 regulator.
