i agree like everyone else that its wrong to make us pay so much for a game and then more down the road for a few addon contents. however, this is the new model and simply saying "I OBJECT!!" and not paying will get you nowhere. besides, i can afford a dlc every couple months for $2.99-$10.
|
You're wrong. Not paying for them forces them to find other methods. It's the people that DO pay that reinforce this idea. Games used to come out for $60 and you'd get the entire package. No hidden bull****. I'm all for DLC, but it should be proper DLC and not include content that was already previously available in past versions of the game/franchise.

idk why ur getting so worked up over it.
Also, there is a tab in the game that allows for calling in natural disasters. So you know.

You're kind of an idiot if you don't see what the problem is here.
If I had just bought a lamp for $60, and it flickered on and off constantly, I wouldn't be happy.
Also, I've bought PC games for 10 years. If you're buying a single player game you should not have to be connected to the internet to play. That's ridiculous.
Not sure if you're a troll or just incredibly dull.

Trust me, I've done the whole "I don't approve so I'm not gonna buy your product!" Wanna know what happened? Every other person interested in the game bought it and no change occurred. I have simply accepted the fact that this is the new business model and it is here to stay.

You pay for your power bill right? When your power goes out for hours at a time do you complain and demand a refund? Let me knows how that goes for ya. Same goes for your car when it stops working and you need a new part. Do you demand the company takes the car back and gives you your money back? I can use references to commercial products using your analogy all day if you like.

Not the same argument at all. Unless you meant new cars only, which in that case, yes. I get the car repaired for free at least. And with lemon laws if they have enough problems you can actually get your money back.

so you complain and get your way? hmmm... the same just happened with Simcity. everyone complains about server loads causing dropping >> EA releases update with better compatibility and greater server loads.
At least with a game when something is broken you always get it repaired for free. Once your item is past warranty, your SOL.

I wonder if it will be something stupid like MW2 for free! or if it will actually be like $60 in credit towards whatever game you want like say, Dragon Age 3.

MW2 is an activision game, not an EA game and don't even bother pre-ordering Dragon Age 3 after the recent **** up with SimCity.

I'll be incredibly surprised if they give out a game that costs anywhere NEAR $60.
