First Strike Re-Balls anyone?
Ok, so I love the idea of First Strike paintballs being introduced as a sniper rounds, but being as they are so damn expensive, to practice with them would cost a fortune. Why not make First Srike Re-Balls like they have for regular paintballs? PLEASE TIBERIUS?

Great idea man. but if you consider that common reballs cost 13-17 times the price of common paintballs then the first strike raballs should cost at least $6 each. and i think you would loose the FS reballs 2Xeasier because of their increased range. Although i like your idea!

I certainly see your point! As for price, with reballs of First Strike rounds, it would only be a one time investment, paratice all you want.
As for the issue of possibly losing them, in my mind, that can be fixed by simply settng up a designated shooting are to practice with them in, thus making the area to search, should you lose one, smaller.
Just my thoughts on your thoughts

So practice with frozen ones! If only it wouldn't be like shooting a musket.. I guess the fins would still be damaged though

You could try making your own. A little mold making silicone from tap plastics and some soft two part polyurethane and you'd be in business.

Good idea, but why even bother practicing with anything other than first strikes?
FS reballs are not the same thing as the actual rounds. They will have a different mass, different size, and different surface (among other things). Therefore they will not have the same flight path. This completely defeats the purpose of practicing with reballs. You can't chrono with the reballs and then play with first strikes because the velocity may change. You can't zero your scope and then play with first strikes because your zero will be off. Heck, the reballs might not even feed the same.
It's a good idea and I wish I could have reusable first strikes, but it's just not feasible. I'll try freezing them when I get time, but I don't think that will help prevent the shell from breaking.

Yup. Novablue is right. This was already done and the last person to do this was told by Tiberius Arms to stop due to copyright infringement or some other legal BS

I don't think this is true. Will you show me where that was our response?

There wasn't an official response by TA in the thread but here's where it happened - Post #72 (I'm guessing this particular thread is the one skullcandy's referring too) It wasn't copyright infringement but rather safety/liability.
