Ditto that. I did manage to get out last night, because New Belgium was in town. I had Biere de Garde and Dig on tap, and got to sample the Hoppy Bock and Rampant DIPA that they're releasing in a week or so. Good beers all around, and they showed their collection of short films from last year.

for the record I skipped younger days this year. If I was still working on a schedule that I had weekdays off I probably would have made the trip but I wasn't gonna drive five hours round trip and likely wait in line for younger or burn a day of leave. good beer but once was enough

the cork from Ovila Golden almost made a dent in my ceiling and sounded like a gunshot going off. they put a warning label on that ***** for a reason... removing corks from beer bottles is almost always a battle but that one removed itself in grand fashion.

Got an interview tomorrow to be the beer manager at my local bottle shop. Here's to hoping I get the job, I would love to have that job. Try to turn that store around and make it a destination for all craft beer lovers in the area.
Just sipping on some Elevated IPA tonight, and maybe some homebrew brown porter.

drank Sanctification and Supplication last night. Two kick *** beers. It helps to have people to share them with because it almost seems like a crime to drink a world class beer by yourself.

Got the job! Gonna be celebrating big time tonight. Gonna have to pop something really special. Either my Life and Limb or Jubel 2010.

ive never been a big fan of the berliner weiss, although ive never tried it with the syrup either. very, very tart beer.
havent been drinking too much lately as ive recently got my *** back in the gym, and have several other projects going. idk if i updated on this, but mymost recent saison experiment came out fantastic, so im greatly looking forward to bottling the brett aged one sometime in the next few months.
just got home from work and popped this, coutesy of NE
nice bitter, roasty flavor with hints coming through of the vanilla and cherry coming through. the brown sugar presents itself, as it usually does, with a lingering caramelly sweetness after the beers gone down. almost thin body with a hint of tartness to it. ive not delved very deep into this category and thus have little to compare it to, so for the time being i will contemplate its deliciousness over the next hour or so as it warms up.
also, any of you in the northwest, my friend has been asking me about Midnight Sun Panty Peeler(tripel), so if any of you have access to it, id really like to arrange a trade.

I was less than impressed with it but if he really wants to try it I can try and find it
EDIT: rhizing bines was really good. doc told me to switch to motrin over tylenol but I might be swapping back because tylenol actually works for me and ibuprofen barely takes the edge off.

Noel's some good stuff, we've still got a couple of cases at my work of it. I may just have to relieve them of a few bottles come payday.
