Rebuilding my Favorite gun of all time. (Picture Heavy.)

So a few years back I sold my favorite gun. A Dragon that I had hand built from the ground up. I have never Loved a gun other than that one, but it was gone and by the time I found it the next owners had parted most of it out. here is what she looked like.

Since I wouldnt never see it again in its originality I decided I would go balls out on a rebuild and bought a dragon body and Empire frame! The body was used,but It got Blast hole modded, tapped for a 2k5 block but was relatively clean except a few scrapes and scratches. So I polished out the scratches and sent it out to Mario at FX Anodizing. Here is what the body looks like

So while it is getting annoed I decided to compile a large lot of My favorite Parts in anticipation of it being completed. Details to Follow Pictures.

-Brand new PBK Snakeskin Bolt
-Brand new EigenRam +Spring
-Like new 2K5 Block
-Brand new Black Dragon Eye Covers
-Brand New Empire Poppit
-Brand new Black Shocketch Adjustable Ram Cap
-Like new 2K5 Ram Sleeve
-Brand new High Flow Barbs

-10BPS Tadao M6 Infamous Board
-Brand new Membrane pad
-Brand new Green Laser eyes
-Brand new Main Harness
-Brand new Alias solenoid
-Brand new High flow barbs
-Brand new Hi Flow Purple Hose

-Like New AKA 2 liter HPR
-Brand new SCMIII LPR (Not pictured, will be here in the morning)
-Brand new 90 degree fitting setup (going to mill it to lower its threaded profile to fit flush with reg)

-Brand new Never installed NEVER OPENED Techna Scythe Trigger

-Brand new CCM NO-PRO
-Empire Z2 cut to fit CCM.

So.... at this point Im waiting for FX to get back to me, and last night he e-mailed me and said it was finished, He is sending it to me tomorrow and as soon as it gets here I will Post a picture of it assembled. He did happen to send me a picture of the body and frame though...swamp green eclipse splash. !!

Eigenram + carbon fiber bolt = problems.

You have shed so much weight with those that you might have trouble getting the valve to open long enough to chrono. I know someone 2 weeks ago couldn't get above 260 fps with a Lurker ram and...I think it was an orange bolt because it was just too light.

thats not a carbon fiber bolt, its a snakeskin, its delrin bolt that is pure awesome. it should raise his fps by 20-30 fps.

I was the last owner of that dragon before I sold it to a guy in Canada that parted it out. Shot amazing, except when I received it the poppit was bad

I'm getting ready to do the same type build... I bought a Dragon with a 2k5 Frame on eBay the other day and I'm gonna break it all down and redo it as well with all new parts and a fresh ano job... Dragons were my favorite guns outside of old cockers, when I'm done with this one it's not going anywhere.

That's how I feel. I have had every high end gun available, my dragon always shot better. So I decided to go all out on this dragon and never get a new gun again

it really was the best intimidator i've ever shot.. until my project done as well. I found a MINT 2k2 shocktech body

very nice, and that bolt looks like nylatron, not delrin but I dont know timmy bolts so I am probably wrong. Either way both are great materials for bolts.

looks like a fantastic build, cant wait to see the finished product, make sure to include a shooting vid.

I will post pics as soon as it is assembled! The video will come after a week of fine tuning and breaking in.

Bonzai splash is my favorite anno of all time as well. thats why I went with it.

I have a dragon project sitting here that is ready for ano and I was tossing around the idea of bonzai splash. Looks excellent, though! Can't wait to see it re-assembled

Hahaha I can't help it! I have been wanting an eclipse bonzai splash ever since I saw the first belsales evolution in that color.

Got my project dragon in yesterday... I got lucky that this one came with the Tadao Infamous board in it, which was a surprise when I pulled the grip off cause I had no idea what board it had when I bought it on eBay .... Collecting parts now to get it ready for the anodizer. Thinking solid black but anyone got any cooler ideas???

I would seriously consider it at least. Lotsa ninja dragons out there. Not that that's a bad thing. I've got a dust black ninja species and i love it.
