Glad to hear folks at CFOA got to feel and shoot it - the picture all comes together when that happens!! In the tech class with Nicky T last week, folks were asking me questions and my answes all had them raising their eyebrows as if to say "you are full of ----" - but once folks actually use it, they will see that the mythical LV1 unicorn does exist!! 
PS - my efficiency numbers have been just under a case on a 68/4500 with the heavy rammer - lots more efficiency tests underway, but with the gun ALMOST stock, I am still getting those incredible numbers. Once you really start fiddling with dwell, SFRs, rammers, etc. then you can tweak this thing infinitely to your liking

I envy anyone who has had the privilege to shoot or play with this gun. Ive only owned the 8 and 11 egos. I love them but sounded like a shotgun going off when i shot them. Loved how easy it was to maintain and clean. Egos are absolute workhorses. Ive watched every video on the LV1 and was SHOCKED and AMAZED with how quiet this bad boy sounded. Night and day comparison with the ego11. I watched a video on youtube of it side by side with the geo3 shooting, and it was just as quiet or even quieter than the geo3 IMO. This new ego is gunna set the bar pretty damn high for PE. I can't wait for mine to get here, can't wait to see what else Jack and PE has in store for the future.

When I pre ordered mine with CC they didn't verify it until 2-3 days later and I still got my pos held even though I paid in full they wanted to verify the $1700 lol |

ePortal is an accessory that you must purchase separately. But one ePortal will work on all EGOs and GEOs, so you dont need to keep buying it for different models. When you plug the gun up to the system, it will identify what model it is and what firmware it is running.

If you know how to work the board on an Ego you do not need the e-portal now, down the road if they release new firm ware to up grade your board, then you will need it, or send in your gun. The e-portal is cool, but not nessessary. It would be cooler if you could just plug it straight into the gun with-out taking the grip off. They could have a rubber flip cover over it like a digital camera. Maybe down the road...

Yeah, in normal circumstances....but when a paintball hits something, it's effectively pressure injected. I doubt it could be as secure as you think.
