my 2k-2k2 wgp cocker issue
I've been wanting an "older" autococker for a while now and found one pretty cheap. It arrived yesterday and the bolt was stuck in the gun due to gunk all over it (and dried up on it). I got the bolt out and cleaned it. I put the bolt back in and aired the gun up. It leaked down the barrel, but after a few minutes of fiddling with the bolt I got it to stop. My issue now is that it won't re-cock. I cock it, it fires, but does not re-cock. I cock it again and it fires. The gun appears to be stock and the regs are not adjustable, what can I do to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance!
for anyone curious it's the gun in the bottom of this picture.

I am not trying to be captain obvious here, but did you check the orings (if any) and lubed the gun. Maybe try these first. Again, not trying to be a jerk.

Well the HPR is adjustable, it is just through the bottom and you have to remove the airline first each time you try and adjust it. You may also have problems with your ram, the orings may be bad. If it is trying to push the backblock but just can't then the pressure is too low or air is passing by the bad orings inside the ram.

both regs are adjustable, you just have to take them apart to do it. unplug the hose and unscrew the body of the lpr away from the nut that screws into the front block, you should see a screw with a groove for a flathead screwdriver. thats the adjustment.
it definately sounds like the lpr is set too low unless the 3 way isnt activating at all. if you can pull the bolt back easily while its gassed up then its the lpr.
the leak down the barrel is normal if the gun isnt cocked, its just the hammer resting against the vavle. if it still does it after its cocked its the cupseal or a valve o-ring. sometimes running a bunch of oil through the gun can fix this. if you can get it to re-cock put a bunch of oil right into the asa and dry fire it a bunch to pull the oil though. any extra will just get blown out the barrel.

Thanks, I hope after a bunch of cleaning and tinkering I can have it up and running soon. This is my first older cocker so I have a bunch of learning to do. Another question, since the bolt was full of gunk I'd like to replace the O-rings, where can I find O-rings for this beast?

I asked the same question about bolt orings. Someone thought it might be tank oring size. But I have a bunch of different sized orings that I try and see what works lol. I know its not an exact science but it works

Most Walmarts carry the 10 packs of tank orings. I always grab them when I see them. Can never have enough orings

well I'm getting closer. I lubed the gun up and it cycles. The issue now is that when I can get it to feed (moving the cocking rod out most of the way) it barely lobs the balls out of the barrel like it has a low velocity. I tried adjusting the velocity, but it didn't work.

The bolt is probably upside down. The hole goes down.
That's a System X something or other. I think they were made from WGP bodies, but I'm not sure. Still a decent cocker. Hopefully someone will know the real name.

Since it obviously wasn't taken very good care of, I suspect it is a cleaning issue. I would take it completely apart, clean it, replace all the o-rings and lube it.
Lots of places to get o-ring kits and lots of advice here if you get stuck. (no pun intended)

Maybe your barrel bore size is too big and that is causing the balls to lob out the barrel?
your 3-way may be a hair off.
your lpr should be screwed in just enough for the gun to re-cock/fire
Maybe your springs are weak

Whenever I get a new used marker I do the following in this order. I buy a LOT of used guns.....some are very poorly cared for.
1) Completely tare down the gun and inspect/replace/lube orings
2) Clean the entire gun with microfiber cloth
3) re-assemble gun if all parts are there and look to be in working order
4) Adjust rear block to correct position
5) Turn all adjustable regs (hpr and lpr) down completely so they are "off"
6) Attach Air Source
7) Adjust HPR so that you hear air flow into the marker, turn another full turn.
8) Adjust LPR so that you hear air flow to pneumatics
9) Sweet Spot LPR. If you can not get gun to fire and recock you need to raise the HPR some more. Turn down LPR every time you adjust the HPR and re-sweet spot.
