Cat bite. That wasn't the worst of it, not by a long shot.

I didn't know this til I really looked into it, but apparently this is one of those things that a Dr. will send you to an ER, the ER is expecting you, animal control tries to quarantine the cat, may get surgery/IV antibiotics for WEEKS (I guess no one does it themselves, they have to stay or go to hospital for it, which is grossly inefficient)

That ***** turned all sorts of funky colors, borderline gangrene. Thank god I had a supply of cephalexin on hand. Pain was/is still pretty bad, but it's almost movable now. And not as discolored and swollen.

Wouldn't imagine a cat could do this, least of all a 'friendly' housecat.

The only thing that scares me about eigenrings is that it scratched the crud out of my top hat. I actually had great luck with just a plain top hat mod.

Does it scratch the inside of the breech?

It didn't on mine. The way it's made is like it's supposed to slide back and forth on the top hat and has an oring on the OD but nothing on the ID. I really doubt the scratches were anything to worry about.

My PM8 might be dead.

Needed new eyes, and I found out why the 7th Element OLED board is so inexpensive. The entire plug that the eyes go into came out of the board, instead of the ribbon coming out of it. So it's now blind unless I get a new board (not going to spend that much), or find some wire eyes I can get to fit.

7e boards are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Gimme the UL though.
