Freak vs deadlywinds fibur vs getting barrel drilled

If you like your current barrel besides the fact that it doesnt take freak inserts, then get it bored for inserts. IF you are going to go buy a freak or deadlywinds, I would choose deadlywinds. It is lighter, quieter, and shoots better through barrel breaks.

I am saving up to buy deadlywind plus inserts I'm pretty sure I need like 160

Go deadlywind lighter takes freak inserts lighter lol
I also heared they are quieter than freak barrels

I would say original Freak. Why buy something that works like a Freak, when you can pick up a used one for the same price as all of the ones you mentioned ?

The DW is lighter, but throws off the balance of your total set-up. Not to mention, if the inside gets scratched, it's done. But it is the quietest of the bunch.

The boring of a stock barrel is ok, but personally, I like the option of looking at the side of my Freak to tell which Insert I have in if my balls start shooting all over the place. With a stock barrel, you have to pull the barrel and yank the insert, not always a good option, but the cheapest of the 3 mentioned.

I have used the 12-14" Freak All American for the last 15 years of my paintball life and other then changing backs (for different guns) or replacing inserts (worn out) I have never considered anything else as they have served me well.

I just bought a small bore CP 1 piece and when I arrive I screw it in and don't give it another thought all day.

I almost always use one of my lurker eigenbarrels. My favorite design.

Of the ones listed though I'd go with a DW fiber or get a 2-piece boomstick bored.

I have been using a freak kit for years and love it, but I love the stock look on my Ego 11. I am sending my shaft 4 off to be bored out. Best of both worlds. I considered the DW but I don't want to spend $90 just because its lighter when I have a freak already or can spend $35 to get my shaft 4 bored.

I have an ego 11 as well and use freak inserts on my Luxe & deadly wind barrels. I would like to bore out my ego 11 barrel but am concerned about weakening it, or taking a risk that it isn't done right; off center etc. Anyone ever have problems with having a barrel bored out? If no problems, where can I send it to be bored?
