1979 Camaro Work In Progress! Picture Heavy.
This is my 79 Camaro. Engine is stock 350. Working on getting all the cosmetics done before I dump money into the engine since it runs fine. Everything has been restored from the ground up so far, even the engine and engine compartment have been sand blasted and painted. Now I need to work on the interior and rebuild the brake system and she'll be done! I've spent stupid amount of money on this thing, didn't realize what I was getting myself into!

Thanks. I wasn't either. I found it cheap and one thing led to another. Idk if I want to get a 383 stroker kit, drop in an ls, or an lq and turbo it. Only time will tell. Right now as long as it runs good restoration is the main priority.

I'm not really a fan of Camaros or any domestic cars to be honest. But these era Camaros are the only ones I like. Good luck on your build. Why did you paint it silver though? Nothing really looks good in silver in my opinion

I have a silverish g35, I thought they'd look nice side by side I didn't want to paint it black or red because those colors are played out.

No problem, what do you plan on doing with interior?

Not sure if I wanna go all black, or a combo of black and a black and silver pattern.

Have you decided yet? Personally I would go with an all black interior. I think it would contrast the outside of the car really well.

If I saw it past me on the road I would rubberneck but I wouldn't buy one with all the car options out there. Just being curious how much have you dumped into it
