Looks like an older ego. If it doesn't perform better though I doubt they'll make money off it for the price of $1,050 on ANSgear.

So what's the diff. between this and an ego? If they are pretty much mechanically the same, this will flop...

I don't like the price of this gun, especially since it is releasing at the same time as the vanquish. if this was priced around $800 I think it might do better. We'll just have to wait and see.

It's a balanced poppit design! Which is supposed to be super smooth guns just typically unreliable. I'm interested.

WOW!!! It's a nice looking gun, but looks like an old Ego. For that price you might as well by and Ego 11 and know your getting a quality gun. Just my 2 cents

I guess they are trying to remake JTs reputation and get it associated with high ends, but 1050 for it? I wonder how much the price is going to drop on these in the next 2-3 years.

1050 is insane for a JT marker.....But I guess they are gaining rep back up as mentioned by mexi.I would not ever pay that much for a JT.My thoughts is in 3 years it will be in the 600-700$ range.Rather have a G6R than this.

That grip will be extremely comfortable. Like the DYE UL grip is.
I think I read they also reworked the balanced poppet to make it better than when SP was making that last generation of Impulses.

The impulse feels to me like a luxe with a UL frame on it. It's long and stable with plenty of room for your fingers and hands when you grip the reg. It feels really good in the hands. Barrel roll is correct, the balance valve was completely reworked. The marker is also cocker threaded instead of ion threaded.

Yes it's a terrible decision to use the threading that has become the industry standard.

I guess dlx is above the standard
Nevertheless, the loyal impulse owners won't like the threading.
And cocker threaded fans are just going to call it an 09 ego like they have.
Jt can't win with this choice, should have just made one happy. (The loyals)

It's paintball, there is no winning. People will complain no matter what you do. Honestly the Imp thread would have been there much better thread to go with for the industry. Too bad Smart Parts was run by short sighted tools that prevents that from happening.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the people who run dlx? And how they fail
