Of course I've gone mad with power. You ever try going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

True story^
Working on it lol. Next thing is gonna be scheduling some mill time. Getting all the **** together to have that done. Anyone wanna donate some time
Gonna need a new front frame screw hole drilled and tapped into the body
Custom VASA
Pocket milling under the body
Frame cut off and modified to accept noid and cyborg board (Probably need a board to send with the frame to have it fitted maybe not.. IDK.. )
DeSquare the bottoms of my eye covers and have them fitted to the frame.
I'm about to put some more stuff I don't really use up for sale to get it done.
I have a like new used once sly kit and my superbolt is up for sale on CC but I'm gonna re-list it here tonight or tomorrow. My borg frame and asa. Some old computer parts that seem to go for decent prices on Ebay and such.
The UL frame makes such a HUGE difference in the overall look and feel of this thing. Completely bumped my interest in the project.

Just contact MeuroM or DC and either one will get the job done.

DC is a coin flip on whether or not they'll get it done... They've had my M project for 3+ yrs now. And the only updates I get from Jared are "sorry, don't have any updates"

Well what are you having him do is the question. If it's something truly custom, that will take a while.
Anyways MeuorM can get it done either way and get you that VASA.

Can the back cut on the UL frame be straightened out? I wonder if there's enough metal left for a screw if it's straight?

what do you mean by straightened out? Like cut the little point off of it?
I'm sure it could be straightened some.. But if you are trying to move the frame forward or backwards in the process you'd run into noid clearance issues.

Yes cut the point off the back. So the back of the ul frame is straight up and down. If the frame went bigger at the top it'd look neat. But, I personally, don't like the frame going bigger at the bottom.

if you take a look at the pic in my sig, he was going to cut some slots in the top tube, cut down the back of the frame so it doesnt stick out past the end of the body, and figure out something to do with the eye covers. when i bought the project, it didnt come with eye covers. then i found someone who wasnt finishing their build, but only had two left side covers. so i picked them up anyways, and jared said he'd try to mess with them to make them work.

You may be able to straighten it out some, but with the screw hle where it is I seriously doubt you'd get it completely straight. However if someone is good with a mill they could probably reshape the back end and make it look completely different.
If that's the look your going for, have a small tray made and use one of the older DM/PM frames that are flat on the top. The PM5 frame would work best in this situation IMO.

Pretty sure those are Tonys eye covers. They can be made to work im sure. Just make the downward part thinner. Also, you'll need to make the part that touches the frame a bit shorter since the borg frame is wider than the one Tony designed.
Your M looks good with the VASA like it is.
I could sell you my borg frame, It is pocketed for the noid, modded to be flush with the body, and has a dovetail .
I couldn't promise we have it mounted the same way though. Tony did mine when he did my body.

I'm pretty sure I sold you those eye covers SoulCoffin as for some reason I had an extra set from Tony Elia. Those mods to the body really shouldn't be too difficult. The only thing else I would suggest is to remove those wings from the body where the vasa is, those are really only there if you were going to use a autococker vasa.

heh, you probably did
i agree, those mods don't sound very difficult at all... which is why i'm perplexed as to why it would take so long for jared to do. he was to make the changes to the body, then when he was done i was going to set up something for ano. he would send it, then it would go back to dc after ano for final build. that was years ago now... and i understand that a bunch of events popped up for jared. but even so, seems way too long...

Does anyone out there have an extra bolt pin, or is someone making them?

Are you running the RT valve or stock valve? If your using the rt valve you will want the stock aka pin. DC or AKA has the pins, DC has warped pins as well. AcidCustoms makes pins as well.

Looks good John. Nice to see another option with the STD/DC being scarce.
Also thought I'd point out someone one eBay is selling Legend frames fairly cheap.
