G6R without SLP reg
How many pods do you think I will get out of a ninja 45/45 with all shims taken out. What would be the difference in pods with an slp?
Also does it effect kick and loudness? Thanks.

The only benefit of a SLP reg is you may gain 1-2 pods. With all the shims out of the ninja reg you'll be more than capable of shooting either a g6r or victory. As far as how many pods you'll get out of a 45/45 i'm not sure, but with a 68/45 you can get over 2,000 shots. I'd go ahead and assume your 45/45 will be fine as long as your not planning on dropping 10+ pods

Ok cool, does it affect the kick and how loud the marker is if using a a regular ninja reg with all shims out instead of an slp?

Some claim it does but in my experience the difference has been solely the efficiency gain. It shouldn't effect sound or feel as the regulators will already be adjusting to the proper output.
As far as how many shots you will get it will vary with your gun and how you have it set up. As the other poster said expect 1-2 pods less than you would have with SLP. The G6R is already insanely air efficient so this should be a non-issue. I enjoy my SLP a lot due to the fact that the field I play at right now does not give very high air fills (about 2200-2500 psi). I can still shoot a lot of paint off this while most others are SOL. If I played somewhere with good air fills I would have more than enough efficiency to play several games.

The SLP reg knocks down the output pressure of the tank to the 275psi range before putting it into the marker to be further regulated by the HPR and LPR. The "kick" and "sound" occurs during the cycling of the marker, well after the marker receives air from the tank. The SLP regulator on your tank will have no bearing on these two factors.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm just going to use my regular Ninja Pro with shims taken out for when I get my new G6R and if I like the G6R, I will try to trade regs for an Slp.

Don't worry about swapping regs. Shoot it and mow faces.
