My Etha is not firing consistently. Like it won't respond to a trigger pull anymore.

I have placed a brand new battery in and it will work half the time.

Solution?

with fresh battery try to ramp while gas is off, is the solenoid click consistently? or maybe bad poppet spring?

FYI, the Etha solenoid does not "click" every time you pull the trigger when you have the gas off. Are you having this problem with gas on? If not then you're marker is fine.

Since I've first turn the Etha on (eyes off), it made a consistent click for every pull or consistent click on PSP mode.

Now on PSP mode it doesn't respond with a click like it should. It skips or sometimes doesn't fire at all.

*Yes I have changed the battery, same problem.

The solenoid on the Etha uses a certain amount of power produced from the battery and is additionally "air assisted". Not getting into specifics, the design of the solenoid does not make it "click" 100% of the time when you have the eyes off and are pulling the trigger without gas in the marker. Hell, mine doesn't even click when I turn the eyes off now. I ran into the same situation before but my marker still cycles 100% of the time when the gas is on.

Point: Gas the marker up and try. If your marker is cycling with the eyes off then it's fine and there is no problem.

I think Jack Wood said something about this in another thread but I can't find it.

Also give us more info, like if its gassed up and not working. If you are talking dry firing with no air then the answer is after a small amount of time the battery wont make the noid click. The battery will still be good for multiple cases once aired up but it wont click the noid

My etha never clicked all ( with gas off, eyes off,dry firing ), but it still works. Still using stock battery.
