Lightest on/off ASA

Who makes the lightest on/off ASA? and how much does it weigh?

I am rebuilding an old gun and want to keep all the components as light as possible.

Honestly weight won't be much different. I'd profile would be more important. The top 3 I'd go with are the macdev on/off, bob long gear drive if it's a direct mount or if it has a dovetail rail then bob long cam drive. Macdev on/off is also a dovetail mount as well. All 3 are low profile and regardless of mounting style they should be able to be slapped into your marker with no difficulties. Hope this helps! I had a dye airport and they can be a b**** to turn on and off a times.

The lightest overall is probably the XSV duckbill. Or pretty much any duckbill style asa. It won't have an on/off system of any kind but they're light and they won't break the bank.
If money isn't an option I would agree with Super and consider the UL Airport.

As posted by others, I agree that I think the Dye UL Airport is probably the lightest. However, I wouldn't worry too much about getting the lightest Asa, as the weight differences of most of the Asa's are so small that they are unnoticeable. If I were you I would go with whatever Asa will look the best on your marker. If you're building a bigger/blockier gun like an autococker, an UL Airport probably won't look the greatest, since you're putting a low profile and oddly shaped Asa and putting it on a blocky body. That's not to say the airport Asa won't look good on some cockers or blockier guns, it's just that they generally won't.

The UL airport is only hard to turn if you're running 800+ PSI reg output.

At SLP or 450/550 it's easy as pie to turn.

The Empire Nano On-Off was incredibly small and Light, pretty sure it was the lightest on-off ever made.
