No, making a part that is wider does not mean they are doing a spring mod. Just a side effect of design I am guessing. If there intention was to make sprung system then we would see a new bolt and spring along with the GTi upgrades

Here is a post i put in the news thread, we are not in the business of ripping off people that make good upgrades for our gun.
"just putting this out there, we prepped this new valve to accept pooty's spring mod. we have no plans to rip off his idea and implement it in our gun, we like to support nice people who make nice upgrades for our products "
modding the valve can be a nasty job as it is hard to hang onto and get running concentric.

I just got notified that mines shipping. Wondering if its shipping with the GTi valve or a modded GT. Not that it matters or I care in all honesty.

Finally shut up and put my money in Pooty's pocket. I see that you updated your site as well.
Im assuming the new kits come with the stock red anno on the bolt and a raw polish on the V2 valve?

Yeah - I also dropped mine in on Saturday and the words Buttery Smooth, comes to mind!
I look forward to the increased efficiency on a already efficient Spool Valve Marker! A must for us Scenario Ballers!
Thanks Pooty for my making my GT even better! I absolutely LOVE this mod!

Well today was a long day. I put 2 cases through it and it was amazing. I was shooting horrible paint, Andrew was still amazing. When I first dropped kit in I noticed it was rough sliding up and down but I moved it with my finger and it went away.
I lowered dwell to 8 and lowered my HPR and was set. I usually carry 6-7 pods and a full Hopper (rotor) and always have like 1.5k-2k out of 68ci at the most left shooting 295+fps
But after mod I got 9pods and a Hopper with 3900psi hot fill still shooting 295+fps
After couple of games I lowered FPS because I wanted to lob balls over to corners and lowered FPS to 285-289 and I shot 11 pods and a Hopper and still had like 1k left.
This mod is amazing! Every GT owner should get one. I loved my GT before, but now love it even more. To me it seemed like a huge difference on efficiency from 295+ to 285, but I shot all that paint and checked air. I am going to do an efficiency test some time this week, I have like 2-3 cases from the left over paint from the past practices and will really test it. I have 2 tanks filled and will test soon.
Also have the V2/GTi valve.
