When you pay your entry and it includes the 6 cases, which brand are the 6 cases and if you upgrade what brand are the upgrades? Basically I'm asking what brands of paint will always be available for sell at every CFOA? I wanna shoot DXS and only DXS, so will I be able to get that at every event and have it included in as my 6 cases with entry?

DXS Bronze is the 6 cases you get for registration with paint.

Upgrades that I know of;
DXS Silver (shot amazing all year)
DXS Gold (Certain events I heard)

Brian is still working on this if memory serves me correctly. I'd expect to see something about this within the week probably.

In the past it has been 3 cases from one of the Kee brands, and 3 from gi/draxxus.

I think last year was mostly Bronze for entry paint. Either way, draxxus will be available at the events.

If I were you, I'd dabble with some of the higher end GI paint as well. You won't be disappointed. 4 star and imperial/5 star are money.

Im just not really understanding? If I pay the entry I do not have a choice in what sponsored brand paint is given to me at the time of sign in? I must take 3 cases of KEE brand?

GI Sports bought out ProCapss (Draxxus) so you would THINK both paints are on the same level...Ive never shot GI Sports....Which is comparable to Silver?

Indeed DXS was bought out by GI and returned to the original owner. I believe that either 3 star or 4 star are on par with silver. One of the two. Someone who shot it more last season may be able to provide a better response though. I can't speak to the consistency of of it however many pro teams are under the GI roof and swear by 4 star and imperial.

I have been assured the ACTUAL brand DXS in the flavor of Bronze will be available. If someone hands me a box and it has Stars on it I'm gonna freak out and beat my wife

It will be. DXS is generally available.. And then we sell out... XD

Really though, if you end up having to shoot GI for whatever reason, you won't be disappointed.

I would be able to purchase all the BRONZE that I wanted. The confusing part I think is some people are using GI and DXS as meaning the same thing. Although GI owns DXS I personally don't feel it is the same thing and I wanted to make sure DXS would always be available. I was told it would be. Im sure 3 Star 4 Star or whatever Star is great I just personally prefer DXS.Im not above trying something new but I don't want to mix and match during a event. I am actually gonna try some 4 Star this weekend. All is good now.

Do you really think the paint makes that much of a difference? I would personally make sure that i ran GI paint to show you it doesn't

Paint makes a big difference...but how you keep up with your paint is more important...not wanting to mix and match during event is also a good idea...some paints can change you FPS 5 to 10...

Feel free to correct anyone who interchanges GI and DXS brand names as if they weren't two different products/companies. They are owned by same people, but each factory makes their own paint. They have their own machines and the processes are slightly different.
