Pump kit install help

ok so i just put a pump kit on my trilogy and as soon as i air it up i get massive leaking down the barrel. any idea what could be causing this?

cock the gun first and it should go away. its normal for cockers to do that, its just the hammer resting against the valve pushing it open slightly. if it continues to leak afterwards then its either the cupseal or a valve o-ring. unless youve messed with the valve for some reason putting on a pump kit wouldnt cause this.

What Rebel said. Cock it first. The only way for air to get to the barrel is through the valve. The hammer can hold it open slightly.

the other issue is the hpr value could not be set high enough, so you do not have the force to close the valve all the way.

this is if after cocking it, the problem proceeds.
