Backup Marker
I've just kicked off my first season in PSP with My Empire Mini. A ton of people have told me that I should probably get a backup marker. Now that my Mini has started to show some slight issues (recurring), I do see the sense in getting a backup. My question is, what's a good backup marker for a D5 player?

get a better gun, and use the mini as a backup. Try an axe as your first choice or an older ego and use the mini as a backup.

This^ viable options for a main gun that are not too expensive are the ego7/8 platform (they shoot great and are reliable), an axe, or a bob long vice. If you are looking at spool valved markers i would recommend a macdev droid,

But the PSP season hasn't begun yet... Anyways, yea, I'd get an axe, or older ego, maybe a bob long vice or timmy, or even macdev drone.

Local tourneys bro...
I played a couple tourneys this summer with a Mini and didn't really have any issues, as long as you're good to it, it will be good to you. But if you want a backup, I'd suggest upgrading to the Axe if you like the Mini then keeping the Mini as a backup.
If you really need something cheap, I'd say pick up a stock Ion and set it to 12bps semi and just roll with that. They can be had for as low as $60 and just like the Mini will work as long as you show it love.

I'd get an axe and keep your mini for a backup.

The season HAS started for CFPS
Anyway, I think I may upgrade to the Axe and just use the Mini as a backup. A friend of mine has an Axe so I can see how I like it this weekend.
