Just put another case through my vapor tonight (only about 4 cases now) and its getting better and better every week. I finally think I got my settings right.
My friend just picked up a luxe 2.0 and chrono'd the same, my vapor was hands down smoother and quieter. That is with my setup being much lighter as well (ninja 45/45 and spire vs his empire 68/45 and rotor).
My one gripe I have is barrel breaks. It's never a chop just barrel breaks.
Current settings : 12 dwell, 3/4 turn out on ft screw, 35 on bolt return and 10 on breech delay. I am using pooty bolt with all buna70 orings. I tried clipping off a few coils on the detents and even kept them very slightly lubed. As for barrel I am using a .685 bob long one piece and paint is bored out about .679. I also have the v3 can installed.
Any suggestions on what I can try to eliminate barrel breaks? Thanks in advance

I also still have barrelbreaks, almost every game some. Pretty annoying, really has to do something with the Vapor. My teammates GEO 3 shoots every freakin paint it gets.
My Vapor is set up at 14 dwell, 40 Bolt return, 12 breach delay, FT 1 turn out. Maybe it's spiking or something, that it hits the ball so hard sometimes it cracks and burst in the barrel? Don't know.
I got the V2 parts still, waiting on the V3.

Bore your paint to your barrel better it may just be the overbore breaking the paint. And also...use the barrel that came with the gun its great.

I have tried every bore size without any luck, the tighter seems to be much worse. With the .685 I have much better luck.

just picked up a vapor in a trade for my ego 11. he was complaining it chopped and was ****ty. i took it, cleaned it and havent even tuned it yet, and its one of the smoothest shooting guns ive ever shot. ive only put about a hopper and a pod out since i got it an hour ago, but its hands down my favorite gun ive owned. cant wait to tune it!

just recent update, i have been putting a lot more paint through the gun and it seems like breaking it in is helping. The spiking shot is gone over the chrono(actually pretty consistent) but last night i did still get some barrel breaks, only about like 2-3 though for a case of paint which i suspect isn't bad or just normal?

In other news, this is straight off the Vapor Vendetta facebook group (and now on Machine's main page)
"Small teaser of the new diffraction limited photon etching multi color processing soon to be available from Machine."
(yes, that's a color-photo...black and grey)
"Here's a different color combo of the new etched multi-color process."

the first two waves of V3 parts went out already (from my last email-conversation with the techs)
Shoot them another email and ask for an ETA (or ask them to confirm that you're on the list)

I'm at 72 cases now and have not chopped a ball in the breach. But I have broke a ball in the barrel but after 2 or 3 shot it was shooting straight again.

There's only 1 spring (the hpr spring) that really needs to get settled. After about 2-3 cases you should be good.
