Geo 2 vs 2.1

My apologies if there is already a thread on this but I couldn't find it, what are the main differences between the two? I'm really wanting to get a geo

The 2.1 has the angled reg collar and POPS asa as well as the PCV is located in the front regulator mount as opposed to the macro fitting although some the latter 2's had that feature.

PCV, not PVC.

Purge control valve. When you degas the gun, if all the air just rushed out the ASA, the market would actually fire a shot (if you're familiar with spool valve markers you'll know why, if not that's a discussion for a different thread). The PCV let's the air out slowly, thus keeping the marker safe. That's why Geos hiss for a few seconds when the air is turned off.

Question. I have the two geos for sale in this link: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3928257 . One potential buyer has asked me if I could swap the parts. I hadn't really thought about it but when I did my concern came at swapping the reg collars. So the long of it short is it ok to just swap the reg collars on both of the guns in doing a parts swap?

If you take off the regulators of both markers and look in the front regulator mount the Geo2.1 should have a black piece in the front regulator mount(where the reg screws on to the gun) that is part of the PCV, in order to swap collars the Geo2 must also have that black piece or the marker will fire every time it is degassed as the majority of Geo2's had the PCV in the macro fitting.

Right. I believe I phrased what I am looking to do poorly, the reg collar will stay with each respective gun. It is the other two pieces, the reg body and adjuster piece that I wish to swap on the guns.

As long as the guns each have a functional PCV it should be fine.
