G4 With L7 bolt issues

it was working fine but recently the bolt wont go back all the way. it does this slowly, returning about half a mill less each shot. then the balls wont go in the breach. i have tried replacing the only oring on the bolt, nothing. help please

i just read a few threads and it looks like it is probably a defect from factory? i should just order a new bolt stop?

Try changing lube. I noticed the colder out the slower the bolt went back till I changed to Tech-T and it works fine now.

That defect is very rare, and should be the last thing you assume.

How old or how much have been shot through the current orings? Relube or use a new lube as suggested. It's likely an oring or two needs to be replaced. First one to check is the smallest oring that goes around the stem of the bolt.

I had the same issue before, and all I did to fix it was replace the 3 breech orings (since I didn't have the TechT sized orings available at the time).

Does the G4 engine have that little oring inside the bolt bumper?

Yes it does. It's a possible source of bolt return problems. Even if that oring goes bad, the right lube can compensate for it sometimes.

i have been helping blackmagic with his gun the best i can. the oring^ is just replaced brand new and we took off the hater he had on it and put lurker on.

I feel like hater sauce causes leaks on DP markers. I experienced leaks using it, and I've heard a fair number with similar problems. All resolved by replacing with just about any other lube.
