theres rarely any action on the countryside and all of the bases seem the same and follow the same patterns of fighting from what ive experienced.
Only on Indar. And esamir has some good open field combat. Jaegers crossing on esa is probably one of the best open field fights. Then eisa is quality.
On Indar there's a bunch in the areas surrounding the crown. TI alloys, xenotech, vanu archives, the northern most regions by the fissure is also good for open land combat.
not saying i havent come across some really quality action on mountains and canyons n **** but it just seems too rare
What server are you on? I'm on Matherson and the open battlefields are pretty common, during peak times of course. If I was on my PC I'd grab my outfits YouTube channel. But search Ghosts of the revolution. Or GOTR on YouTube. You'll see some quality fights when we do our weekly raid.
I'm so ****ing sad. I don't think any modern sequels of my favorite games have been nearly this disappointing. This game has been castrated from day 1 as a console experiment, and castrated AGAIN as a RMAH experiment to figure out the billing method for Titan to replace WoW.
I'm ready for "Tap the Demons!" on iPhone any day now.
I agree, although I am reinstalling right now. Looks like they patched it quite a bit since release and got rid of the lead designer Jay Wilson. I am willing to give it another chance.
I have a feeling I'm still going to be dissapointed.

Now I finally got a computer worth playing on, and need suggestions for games. i have WoW, Black ops, CS, and the Mechwarrior beta. Just trying to find a game or 2 I can really get into. I've been trying a wide variety of new things, having only played on xbox before. despite having started the thread, I've never been an avid PC gamer.
Any suggestions/thoughts are appreciated

if you like shooters, BF3 would probably be an easy suggestion. that way you can get ready for BF4 I run an XFX R7800 series card with an AM3+ quad core processor at 4.2ghz without any overclocking and can run BF3, Bioshock Infinite, and any other game I have on highest possible settings with a solid 30 fps. Borderlands 1 and 2 are fun, especially with coop partners that aren't trying to rush through the game. Dishonored, Tomb Raider, Crysis 3.

I run an XFX R7800 series card with an AM3+ quad core processor at 4.2ghz without any overclocking and can run BF3, Bioshock Infinite, and any other game I have on highest possible settings with a solid 30 fps.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, no you can't.
I ran SLI GTX680s on an overclocked i7 with 24gb ram and BF3 would dip to 30fps and sometimes when maxed. You must be getting much worse dips than I do.

I'm aware of that, I was implying that the computer was not lacking in the performance department.
One could argue that if I had SLI 680s and an I7 with FPS dips it was because of lack of ram, to which a follow up post would be needed explaining I have sufficient. I was cutting out the two follow up posts
I don't need to worry about being able to run anything. That's all I'll say.
