DM6 Solenoid Leak

I have a DM6 which I got from a guy off of here a couple months back and it worked great and a couple days ago I aired it up and i was hearing a fizzing sound around the trigger. I checked all the orings and no problems with them but its still made the sound I removed the trigger and aired it up again and it seems to be coming from around where the wires go into the top half of the gun and around the solenoid I took the solenoid off to clean it out but I am not that advanced with this gun. Is there anyway to tell if my solenoid is bad or am I not putting it in correctly. I think it may be best to have someone who has a vast knowledge of the DM6 to fix my problem. So if anyone knows who could fix it for me for a fee in paypal and is close or in canada I would greatly appreciate it and if it turns out my gun is out of commission how much would I be able to sell the parts for roughly.

there should be an orange button you can press,
take off the grip frame but leave the air hooked up, and press the button when the air is hooked up, it should shoot the gun without you pulling the trigger.

My dm4 had this same leak from the same spot, and i tried that and the leak went away for good.

i think its just that the spool gets stuck in some half open position when it sits for too long, and that button helps break up any old grease and ****, getting it shooting good again.

If it ends up not being the noid, you could also check the lpr and make sure the inner o-ring is intact as this could create a small leak which has a similar sound location to that of the noid

When in doubt, go back to stock settings. If it still sounds like the solenoid is venting, check out this: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1623383

Yeah, I agree. noids don't just take a dump usually unless you did something crazy like spike the reg???
You can fix this, do the reading on your own and get yourself a oring kit. This is very easy for you to do, and you'll understand your gun better.

change the bolt sail oring (#015 middle one on the bolt).
and also change the #020 orings on the outer part of can. i usually just change all 3 at the same time.

you dont say if it has the front on/off or a cp plug, but i would put some lube on the orings on that too. those get a a little dried up over time and would cause a small leak in the solenoid area too.

lmk if this helps.

The DM6 doesn't have the button on the solenoid. The older models like the DM4/5/C did.

And there are many causes for leaks from the solenoid area, and many threads discussing them. Do a search.

Agreed, its best to put the noid back in

reset regs/lpr

Reg about 4 turns out if its a hyper 3/2

Lpr about 4 turns out.

Dwell 21

Change out the bolt sail oring and the can orings like stated above ^ and then report back with issues
