a5 will no longer decock after installing double trigger

I recently purchased a double trigger and just installed it on my A5. I don't have any air in my tank, however when I cock my gun, the trigger won't decock it. Any ideas as to what may be going wrong with it?

Have you recently opened up your marker? If you have double check to make sure the ball detent/latch is not in backwards.

Could you post a picture of your markers internals?

Can you post a picture of the trigger assembly?

Actually I tried the original trigger, and it works fine. Seems the double trigger must be defective :-(

What's your markers current setup?

Can you post pics on how you had it installed.

In terms of the the trigger, I just replaced the original one plus the cover or whatever it's called with the double find one. I'm not home right now, but can post some pics of it when I get home.

Other than that, my marker's setup is pretty simple: originally got it with a response trigger an HPA tank and a red dot, and recently added a remote coil, stock, and the double trigger to my A5.

While are taking pictures take one of the stock single trigger on top of the new double trigger. That might be the most revlealing of your problem.

Yes, trigger guard would be correct.

Here are the pics, including the overlapping ones:

I had the same problem after 3D printing a double-finger trigger in CAD class. What I did was ended up putting in stronger springs (just a couple I found in pens) and sanding down ever so slightly the top of the double trigger where the return spring goes (the front edge). This is preventing the trigger from swinging enough to allow the trigger to drop the sear. Hope that helped!

Thank you for that, Noah.

I ended up going to the store I bought it from and what the guy there did was he took the spring from the original trigger (the smaller of the two springs, the one that was internal) as it turns out the triggers that come with response trigger markers are stronger than the ones without response triggers or e-grips.
