2 tanks at once or sorta
Alright I thought this idea up after my last game I played. I run a small 48/3000 psi tank on my gun so yeah air is used up fast! I have another tank at the same size (running on a budget, the other was my brothers) and I got the idea that once I ran out of air with the direct mount on my gun I'd get the tank on my back with a remote coil on it, get the coil and hook it up to the fill nipple of the tank on my gun. Thus using the air of the tank on my back. Would it even fill or work? This would only be temporary for a few spring games. Any ideas or well anything will help!

It works but really you only push the output pressure of your reg into the empty tank. So that is only a few hundred psi you're working with.

But the secondary tank would keep filling the primary tank back up to the output pressure of the reg on the secondary tank. You should get almost the same number of shots as you would shooting one tank dry and then shooting the second tank dry (maybe 80-90%?) but I think you could get some shootdown on fast strings.
EDIT: Never mind, you shouldn't get shootdown.

The biggest problem lies in that the back mounted tank will only output at 850 or so PSI. So, your marker mounted tank will only have 850 PSI in it, when it runs out. All of the regs out there will output less than 850 PSI when that is what the input is. So your will be shooting your marker at less than 850 PSI. This may not be a big deal for some, but if you are shooting a Tippmann or Spyder, or even an Automag, then you will have problems as the pressure won't be able to operate the marker properly.
There are three options, 1) Buy a SHP type of reg for the one on your back, which will output at a higher pressure, and keep a higher pressure in the marker mounted tank, 2) Put both tanks on your back, and run a pair of ASA's to small hose, to a T block, then a remote line to the marker, 3) Get a 68/4500 tank that holds as much air in it as two 48/3000 tanks, and weighs in only slightly more than a full 48/3000 tank.

But that money could go to a larger tank as well but I can see it come in handy down the road though

Some scenario guys have asked us to make that so we decided to offer it to the public this season. some people will also use that to tandem bottles together for one gun in mobile tanks people will drive around that have built in guns/turrets on them.
